With a strong junior membership, we boast of some of the best junior players in the county. The club has close connections with Hinstock junior school and supported by the excellent coaches, provides the school with free coaching in P.E. lessons during the summer term.
As a responsible club, we care a great deal about the welfare of our juniors and would recommend all children and parents to look at our children’s welfare web page.
Junior Coaching
These sessions take place throughout the school year on Friday afternoons after school. In a break from the past, coaching did not move indoors over the winter months and due to the dry and relatively mild winter was hardly affected by the weather. They are open to both members and non-members, however members receive a discount on their coaching costs. Full details are available on the coaching page.
Junior Club Afternoon
This season, we will be re-visiting the Junior Club sessions on a Sunday afternoon, where juniors can meet friends and play tennis amongst themselves. This year however, we want to open it up to all our junior members and as well as tennis, there will be other sports and craft activities. Although supervised and organised by adult members of the club, it will be strictly juniors only on court. However, these kind of sessions can only work if enough interest is shown by juniors and enough parents are prepared to give a little time on a Sunday afternoon to provide supervision. these sessions will run from 2:30 and the first session is on 14th May.
